For anyone who follows my personal Instagram account, you already know I’ve been having a love affair with strawberries lately. Last year I took a ceramics class and I’ve been working with clay ever since.
My favorite part of the process is painting my little treasures with fun colors, patterns and lots of dots. After a year of painting teeny tiny dots, I decided I was going to paint one of my favorite cute fruits – a strawberry. That was the beginning of my current infatuation with strawberries.
A few fun strawberry facts:
• Strawberries aren’t actual berries. Why? Because they have their seeds on the outside. They’re “technically” an accessory fruit (I’m not exactly sure what that is..)
• There are approximately 200 seeds on each berry.
• Strawberries come in other colors not just red. There are yellow, blue, white, black, purple strawberries too. And, some are the size of an apple (it’s hard to believe).

Have a great week my friends, stay healthy, and stay inside as much as possible.
You are so talented. Thank you. d
Your ceramics have certainly evolved since we saw you last fall. Beautiful work!
